Our field teams use these tooling sets and equipment when implementing specialized welding and machining projects at nuclear power plants around the world. You will report to the Manager, Field Service Operations and be located, onsite, at our Manning, SC facility.Key Responsibilities:Manage equipment and tooling performance and reliability.Gain detailed familiarization with current welding and machining tooling designs, operation and industry trends.Track operational and financial metrics for tooling and equipment performance and solicit feedback from Field Project Managers and Technicians.Analyze data to prioritize and bring solutions to equipment and tooling needs.Work with Leadership to develop long-term equipment strategies based on projected needs and financial viability.Collaborate with Design Engineering to develop new tooling and enhancements to existing equipment.Partner with manufacturing Leads for fabrication, equipment Leads for improvement opportunities, and vendors for outsourcing products and services.Develop cost estimates, schedules and proposals for manufacturing, tooling development, and secure funding for innovation projects.Responsible for project management processes on high-complexity projects, or a portfolio of medium to high-complexity projects.Lead and establish a healthy collaborative working environment between teams, including cross-department roles such as Project Controls, Quality, Engineering, Sales, other Project Managers and shop personnel.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in applicable disciplines include Project Management, Mechanical Engineering, and Welding Engineering.

Additionally, a degree in Project Management with a background in specialized welding and machining processes and tooling used at nuclear power plants is also acceptable. This background should include knowledge of tooling design, manufacturing, equipment reliability, and troubleshooting. The manufacturing environment supports field services at nuclear power plants, fossil and oil/gas specialized tooling manufacturing, and includes component deliverables. You will have 5 years of Project Management experience.

5 years of Engineering/supervisory experience and 2+ years of technical field/shop experience, such as components tooling design and manufacturing for specialized functions at nuclear and fossil power plants, as equivalent. You will have experience with Safety and Non-Safety Related Quality Assurance Programs. These programs include associated Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) requirements. Additionally, you will be familiar with automated and manual welding processes, Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM), and applicable ASME code sections.

Specifically, you will know relevant code cases for nuclear power plant construction and repair, boiler and pressure vessels, and Heat Exchangers.The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $103,200 to $129,000 per year.
