Dream big and create the future of mobility at Magna Electronics.The Principal System Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and integrating complex real-time automotive systems focusing on high-performance computing systems-on-chip.Your ResponsibilitiesExpert in System hardware and software architecture focusing on high-performance computing systems-on-chip (SoC).Expert in high-speed communication pipelines like Multi-Gig Ethernet, PCIe, LPDDR4/5Experts in sensor selection & system Integration architecture for ADAS systems.Proficient in System (Hardware, Software) documentation architecture and requirements.Expert in Architecture optimization to apply cost-effective solutions with improved performance design.Architecture Experience in implementing safety and security mechanisms to meet ISO 26262 and ISO 21434.Expertise in Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) and Fault Tree (FTA) techniques for systems and components.In-depth understanding of vehicle feature interactions, including Automated Driving, Infotainment, and Mechatronic Control Systems.Expertise in integrating, troubleshooting, and analyzing vehicle control sub-systems to deliver next-generation fail-operational systems.Collaborating with hardware, software engineers, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless hardware and software integration into the overall product.Expert in communication and negotiation with customers and suppliers.Who we are looking forEducationBachelor's degree in engineering or demonstrated equivalent skills (Master's preferred)ExperienceMinimum of 10 years deep and relevant experience in the System hardware and software architecture.Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in high-performance computing systems-on-chip.Proven track record of successful launches of automotive productsYour preferred qualificationsDeep and comprehensive knowledge of product development engineering practices in automotive fieldDeep knowledge of the automotive software development process, experience with SOC a plusDemonstrated decision making capability with a strong technical backgroundHands on approach when requiredStrong technical background.
