Land & Shipboard Effector Guidance Systems Lead
At RTX Corporation in Tucson, Arizona, United States, the Land & Shipboard Effector Guidance Systems Lead will provide both technical guidance and supervision in meeting project commitments. In this role you will work with Raytheon factories and suppliers to deliver data-based evidence to ensure proper decision-making for the direction of the program related to electrical design and production.
What You Will Do
- Performance management and career development activities
- Support hiring efforts (resume reviews, interviews, etc.)
- Oversee the direct line management activities for the section including communication, performance management, career development, and talent acquisition
- Collaborate and communicate with other sections and teams
- Support department and directorate level initiatives
- Ensure employee compliance with company policies and procedures
- Oversight of personnel issue resolution
- Manage employee timecards
- Adhere to and ensure alignment to Raytheon Technologies Values and Behaviors
- Work as a technical lead or individual contributor; Section Leader duties account for approximately 15-20% of the employee's time.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior Engineering experience
- Required relevant experience to include a combination of the following: Engineering experience in System Engineering (SE) or Production Engineering (PE) or Production Test Engineering (PTE)
- Experience in analysis, testing, measurement or integration of electrical products or systems, and leading cross-functional teams or projects
- Experience with missile guidance section or subassembly production and development, with a strong understanding of all phases of the product development lifecycle
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
