Position Overview
The Radar Digital Products Department within Raytheon is hiring an Electrical Engineering Project Lead. The role is 100% onsite and requires U.S. citizenship and a DoD Secret security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Direct teams of electrical engineers through custom military hardware design and verification.
- Plan, budget, and conduct internal and external design reviews.
- Coordinate cross‑functional project teams within larger programs or R&D efforts.
- Resolve issues, manage risks, and capitalize on opportunities.
- Present progress and technical status to various levels of management and customers.
- Manage subcontractors and proposal writing, including cost estimation.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in electrical hardware design and development.
- Experience leading complex technical projects.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, SAP, and other scheduling/cost management tools.
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent preferred.
- Earned Value Management certification preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with PCB and FPGA design standards.
- Subcontract management experience.
- Ability to assimilate inputs from multiple sources and derive design and operational requirements.
Compensation
Salary range: 107,500 – 204,500 USD.
