Principal Electrical Engineer - Production Hardware (3rd shift)

Position Summary

Principal Electrical Engineer – Production Hardware (Tucson, AZ). Onsite role requiring U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance. 3rd Shift (11pm‑8am) with less than 10% annual travel.

What You Will Do

• Drive program execution including cost, schedule, and technical oversight throughout the product lifecycle.
• Enhance electrical engineering skills working with digital, analog, RF hardware and debugging complex circuit card assemblies or electro‑mechanical systems.
• Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and other Engineering disciplines to achieve concurrence and resolve issues during production, testing, and integration.
• Provide technical oversight, direction, cost estimation, tracking & reporting, and preparation of detailed technical team reports.

What You Will Learn

• Knowledge of electrical components, circuit card assemblies, RF, analog, digital and mixed‑signal circuit design or analysis.
• RTX Core Certification and Raytheon Responsible Engineer Authority (REA) training.

Qualifications

Must Have: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM field and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience. Experience with RF, analog, digital, and/or mixed‑signal circuit design or analysis, laboratory equipment, and leading technical projects.

Preferred: Root‑cause corrective action investigations; electrical engineering design of CCA, EO, RF, seeker/sensor, or electronic sub‑systems; experience with Mentor Graphics Designer, PSPICE, System Vision, MATLAB, and other simulation tools; familiarity with missile communication transceivers, IMU, and GPS receiver subsystems; statistical process control; technical writing and presentation skills.
