Principal Electrical Engineer

Job Title: Associate, Electrical Engineer

Location: Palm Bay, FL

Experience: LABVIEW certification or training. Experience working with hardware and software.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Troubleshoot HW & SW solutions
2. Work closely with other engineering disciplines (e.g., mechanical and systems engineering) to ensure the electrical design is appropriate for the project/product design approach
3. Ability to reverse engineer existing equipment (e.g., documenting something that is already built)
4. Support automated test software development
5. Review and verify automated test procedures that will drive software changes required to support operations
6. Present project/technical status to peers, internal management, and customers
7. Demonstrate excellent time management skills - ability to multitask and delegate work to support technicians, engineering project assistants, and peers
8. Demonstrate knowledge of hardware processes, tools, methods, workflow, and best practices

Basic Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) discipline

Desired Skills:

1. Good communication, documentation, and collaboration/teamwork skills
2. Software development experience/proficiency – LabView and/or C# is a plus
3. Ability to read electronic schematics
4. Experience working on RF (Radio Frequency) devices
5. Domain knowledge of avionics products
6. Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
