A senior-level, hands-on engineering leader responsible for shaping and expanding the electrical engineering discipline within an innovative energy technology organization. Reporting to the senior engineering leadership team, this individual will act as the primary authority for electrical engineering matters, driving system architecture development, supporting product realization efforts, and enabling successful implementation of technology solutions in operational environments.
This opportunity is centered on product engineering, integrated system development, and first-of-a-kind technology advancement, rather than conventional site-based engineering execution. The selected candidate will provide strategic technical direction while remaining deeply engaged in engineering delivery, systems development, design integration, technical troubleshooting, and project execution.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related technical field.
- Approximately 10 or more years of relevant engineering experience, subject to discipline-specific requirements.
- Demonstrated practical experience within electrical engineering and related technical applications.
- Proven experience leading technically challenging initiatives, projects, programs, or engineering teams.
- Background working within nuclear or similarly regulated, safety-critical industries.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, technical evaluation, and engineering decision-making skills.
- Ability to succeed in an environment experiencing growth, process development, and organizational scaling.
Functional Scope
- Provide leadership and technical oversight for electrical engineering efforts associated with product development, integration activities, and deployment initiatives.
- Develop, define, and guide electrical architectures, design approaches, technical specifications, and performance expectations for sophisticated engineering systems.
- Support the design and integration of AC and DC power networks focused on operational reliability, efficiency, and safety.
- Establish and coordinate electrical interfaces across equipment packages, subsystems, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
