This role requires a highly experienced technical leader who thrives in complex, multidisciplinary environments and is motivated by solving challenging, system‑level problems. The Principal Electrical Engineer will shape advanced technologies, influence architecture and design decisions, and provide technical leadership across teams while mentoring engineers and driving disciplined execution throughout the product lifecycle. This role is based in Denver, CO and is hybrid preferred; highly qualified candidates may be considered for remote.Responsibilities:Define and drive electrical architecture, design standards, and technical direction across multiple product programsLead system-level design and integration of complex mixed-signal electrical systemsProvide technical leadership and mentorship, guiding engineering teams toward strong design and execution practicesLead cross-functional technical efforts across electrical, software, and mechanical disciplinesEvaluate and de-risk new technologies through feasibility analysis and experimental validationDrive resolution of complex system-level challenges across programsDrive engineering processes, development practices, and lifecycle management strategiesEnsure designs meet relevant safety, regulatory, and compliance requirementsRequired Qualifications:B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field12+ years of experience designing and delivering complex electrical systemsOther Attributes:Demonstrated ability to define system architectures and influence design across multiple programsStrong technical leadership and mentorship experienceAbility to solve highly complex, cross-disciplinary engineering challengesStrong communication and ability to influence stakeholders across organizationsDemonstrated ownership of system-level architectures or major subsystemsExperience leading technical direction across teams or programsStrong foundation in analog, digital, and mixed-signal designPreferred Qualifications:Experience with complex system architectures (mixed-signal, RF, or power systems)Experience in regulated industries (e.g., medical devices)Experience with programmable logic or digital hardware design (FPGA/ASIC/HDL)Experience defining technical standards or architecture across teams or programsFamiliarity with product lifecycle processes and development toolsThis position is not eligible for employer based sponsorship.Disclosure as required by applicable law, the annual salary range for this position is $130,000 - $209,000. The actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education and skill level.
