This position is based out of our Bridgeton, MO facility and will have the option to work an in person or hybrid schedule. This position will serve as the Power Systems subject matter expert. This position will review customer specifications and requirements, develop concepts and designs to best support them, including conceptual packaging with cost and schedule as key design variables. It will lead internal design teams and be the primary technical interface to other DRS subsidiaries when power system expertise is needed. The position will design, develop, analyze, document, select and support testing of products, systems, or subsystems with a focus on power electronics and power generation equipment. The selected candidate will have demonstrated experience in power electronics design and development experience including AC-DC, DC-DC, DC-AC power conversion equipment ranging from 100 to 30 kW, 3.3 to 600 VDC, and 120/208VAC. This position requires an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.The salary range for this position is $104,295.00year- $140,799.00 for the state of Illinois. This range reflects the good faith estimate of pay the employer is willing to offer at the time of posting.
