Leading the execution of data strategy for a large-scale federal data platform, the fully remote Principal Data Strategist will manage data governance, quality standards, and coordinate with upstream source-system teams to enhance metadata maturity and support self-service analytics. Key responsibilities: Own the execution of the data strategy, aligning delivery with organizational goals Coordinate across multiple teams to manage data ingestion, readiness, and shared metadata standards Set and maintain data quality standards, ensuring compliance with SLAs and tracking defects Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, plus at least 12 years of experience Proven experience leading a data strategy for a multi-source enterprise data platform Experience with metadata governance programs and cloud data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake) Strong background in defining and enforcing data quality standards Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance
