To support enterprise-wide data initiatives, the full-time remote Principal Data Modeler will design data modeling standards, translate business concepts into structured schemas, and implement models on Snowflake while ensuring governance and performance optimization. Key responsibilities Translate domain concepts and Critical Data Elements (CDEs) into clear conceptual and logical models Implement physical data models on Snowflake, optimizing for performance and documenting design decisions Define and maintain data product contracts, ensuring models are discoverable and well-governed Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data/Information Management, or a related field 10+ years of data modeling and warehouse design experience Hands-on Snowflake data modeling experience, including star/snowflake and 3NF/Data Vault structures Experience designing data contracts and applying governance and privacy practices Tooling experience with SQL and dbt or equivalent for model-as-code
