Leading the strategy and governance of a large-scale federal data platform, the fully remote Principal Data Lead will execute the data strategy, manage the data supply chain, and drive a multi-phase metadata maturity program while ensuring data quality standards are met. Key responsibilities Own execution of the data strategy for the enterprise data platform, aligning delivery with broader organizational goals Coordinate across multiple upstream source-system teams and business data owners to manage ingestion readiness and shared metadata standards Set and maintain data quality standards, including completeness and conformance, while tracking measures of data quality and metadata coverage Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field, plus at least 12 years of related experience Proven experience leading a data strategy for a large, multi-source enterprise data platform Experience designing and operating metadata governance or maturity programs Familiarity with modern cloud data platforms and metadata/catalog tooling Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance
