Key responsibilities Drive architectural decisions for critical platform components, focusing on scalability, cost, and reliability Build and maintain production-grade data pipelines using Snowflake and dbt, supporting real-time data needs Establish and enforce data governance standards, ensuring data quality and compliance across the organization Required qualifications 10+ years of data engineering experience, with 3-5 years at a principal or staff level in a start-up environment Production-grade experience with Snowflake and dbt, including design and scaling in a real product environment Hands-on experience with real-time streaming technologies such as KSQL or Apache Flink Expert-level proficiency in Python and SQL, along with a strong background in data modeling and pipeline design Demonstrated usage of AI tools to enhance engineering processes and problem-solving capabilities
