Leveraging extensive experience and AI-enabled delivery, we support customers in navigating complexity as they meet today's needs and transition to more sustainable solutions.RoleWe are seeking an experienced Principal Cost Analyst to support the successful delivery of engineering and construction projects. This role is responsible for providing cost control expertise, forecasting project performance, monitoring earned value metrics, and supporting project teams in achieving project objectives.Responsibilities:Assume responsibility for the preparation, quality, and accuracy of project cost reports; Liaise with project management and clients on all matters related to cost controlEstablish, maintain, and update cost control budgets, actuals, and forecasts within Worley's cost control systemDevelop, update, and monitor deliverable earned-progress data and reports with engineering discipline leadsActively manage cost forecasts; raise, and facilitate the trend process; updates forecast and cash flowsDevelop and maintain engineering and services staffing plansCalculate, explain, and report variances, performance, and other project metricsCalculate and explain value of work doneReviewing and validating data with discipline leads for cost reporting data, incurred cost, earned value and forecastsManaging vendor budgets, commitments, invoices, and forecastingSupporting project change processes by helping create, review, and track project deviation notices and variationsParticipate and review professional services estimatesIncorporate project accounting and financial information from Worley's financial systemResponding to ad hoc requests and inquiries, as requiredQualifications:Minimum 12 years' progressive experience in Project ControlsWorking knowledge of EcoSysProven team player with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and to develop and maintain collaborative working relationshipsExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsThorough understanding of project control activities for oil and gas downstream, midstream, or upstream onshore or offshore, mining & metals, and related industries' projectsStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office SuiteUniversity degree, or equivalent, in a related field or applicable discipline (Engineering), or equivalent relevant experience.If you're naturally curious, driven to improve outcomes, and excited by the opportunity to make an impact on challenging projects, we'd like to hear from you.Make a lasting impact with us.
