The Principal Contract Administrator will support the Airborne Multifunction Sensors Division within the Advanced Mission Capabilities Business Unit. The role includes managing assigned contracts, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, and coordinating with customers and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Act as primary interface with customers for contractual issues; monitor contract and associated program to ensure contractual obligations are communicated and understood.
  • Participate in contract proposal preparation, contract negotiations, contract administration, and customer contract activities to manage assigned contracts in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
  • Develop solutions to routine and complex contractual matters to ensure compliance with contract requirements on assigned programs.
  • Ensure fulfillment of contract requirements, manage contract changes, and maintain historical information.
  • Review terms and conditions to address provisions and risks (financial terms, acceptance criteria, delivery requirements, warranty, intellectual property, termination provisions, indemnification, etc.) and recommend risk mitigation strategies.
  • Assist management in achieving financial goals related to cash management and sales.
  • Prepare and manage written communications with internal and external customers for assigned contractual matters.
  • Ensure timely delivery of all contractual deliverables (CDRLs/SDRLs) and submission of invoices.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of related experience in contracts administration/management or a related field, or Master’s degree with 3 years of experience.
  • Will consider 9 years of applied experience in lieu of a degree requirement.
  • Experience working with MS Office Suite and Adobe.
  • Experience using FAR/DFARS and/or commercial clauses.
  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • Current, active U.S. Government Secret level security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with U.S. government customers.
  • Experience with proposal development and negotiations.
  • Experience working with various contract types such as Firm Fixed Price, Cost Plus, etc.
  • Experience with SAP.

Benefits and Compensation

Primary Level Salary Range: $89,900.00 - $134,900.00
