We are partnering with a growing software company that is investing heavily in its cloud platform and engineering infrastructure.

This is a highly visible, hands-on engineering role focused on building the systems, tooling, and cloud architecture that enable engineering teams to develop, deploy, and operate software at scale.

The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping platform strategy, improving developer productivity, increasing deployment velocity, and ensuring platform reliability across a modern cloud environment.

This is not a traditional operations role. We are looking for an engineer who solves infrastructure and scalability challenges through software, automation, and platform design.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Designing and evolving cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code
  • Building and improving deployment systems, release automation, and engineering workflows
  • Creating self-service capabilities that reduce friction for development teams
  • Developing automation and tooling to improve scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency
  • Driving improvements in developer experience and engineering productivity
  • Building and maintaining highly available cloud-native systems
  • Partnering closely with software engineers to improve how applications are built, tested, and deployed
  • Implementing best practices around observability, monitoring, security, and incident response
  • Influencing platform architecture and engineering standards across multiple teams

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Significant experience in Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or DevOps roles
  • Deep hands-on expertise with AWS and cloud-native architectures
  • Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
  • Proven success building CI/CD platforms and deployment automation
  • Strong software engineering and automation skills, particularly with Python
  • Experience with containers and orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes or ECS
  • Solid understanding of modern software delivery practices and cloud infrastructure design
  • Experience operating and supporting complex production environments
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple engineering teams and influence technical decisions
