Seeking a Principal Cloud Engineer for a remote, full-time position responsible for leading cloud infrastructure strategy and operations while actively engaging in hands-on development and team mentorship. Key responsibilities Provide technical leadership for cloud engineering and DevOps teams, establishing best practices and writing production-level infrastructure code Design and manage a secure, scalable multi-account AWS environment, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery Mentor and develop engineering talent, overseeing performance evaluations and career growth initiatives Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus At least 10 years of experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure engineering, platform engineering, or DevOps Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience with AWS across core services At least 3 years of experience in a leadership role managing engineering teams Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
