# Principal Cloud ArchitectUS Fintech Scale-UpNew York, NY, USA $150 - $200 per hour Posted 5 days ago## About the RoleA regulated US fintech is re-platforming to a modern, secure multi-account AWS architecture ahead of a major product launch. They need a Principal Cloud Architect to define the target state, lead the migration and set the standards for security, reliability and cost governance across engineering. You will be the most senior cloud voice in the room, partnering with the CTO and CISO on architecture decisions that will shape the platform for years.## Responsibilities* Define the target AWS landing zone, network and security architecture across all environments* Lead the migration and modernisation program end-to-end alongside platform and SRE teams* Set cloud engineering standards, guardrails and cost governance patterns* Advise the CTO and CISO on architecture, resilience and risk## Requirements* 10+ years designing and running large-scale cloud environments on AWS (multi-account, multi-region)* Deep experience with Terraform, IaC governance, service catalogs and platform engineering patterns* Strong grounding in cloud security, IAM, KMS, VPC design and controls for regulated environments (SOC 2, PCI, SOX)* Proven track record leading cloud migrations or re-platforms at fintech, SaaS or enterprise scale* AWS Solutions Architect Professional or equivalent depth### Interested in this role?Apply now and one of our specialist consultants will be in touch within 48 hours.Or email your CV to
