Principal Business Development Specialist for Quantum Technologies, Worldwide Go-To-Market team for Amazon Braket

Overview

Do you have deep expertise in quantum computing and a passion for helping customers unlock value in an emerging technology? In this role you will work with a wide range of AWS customers – researchers, start‑ups, and enterprises – to help them explore quantum computing through the Amazon Braket service. You will leverage your deep technical and business expertise, scaling your knowledge across the AWS field teams, and consolidating customer feedback to inform product development.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the GTM strategy and execution for quantum computing, collaborating with teams in the field including Sales, Partners, Marketing, and other Specialists.
• Leverage deep expertise in quantum computing to understand key customer problems and enable account‑aligned teams to solve them.
• Lead cross‑functional initiatives to expand markets/accounts, develop scalable programs to drive adoption, and identify new opportunities within your domain.
• Develop and execute goals to drive long‑term growth in your geography, while meeting or exceeding revenue and non‑revenue KPIs.
• Bring customer data and market signals back to Worldwide teams to prioritize building the right features and services for customers.
• Deliver monthly/quarterly business reviews and operational planning documents for your tech domain and geography.
• Drive geographical scale through external partners; partner with cross‑functional teams across Solution Architecture, Business Development, Marketing, AWS Partners, and Training to execute customer acquisition programs and strategies.

Day in the Life

You will work directly with AWS services teams, partners, customers, and research institutes to ensure AWS is the best place to run quantum computing workloads. You will help customers access resources, advice, and mechanisms as we transition quantum computing to full‑scale commercial adoption.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with advanced compute technologies, including accelerated compute, high‑performance compute, visual/spatial compute, and/or IoT.
• 5+ years of Go‑to‑Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience.
• 5+ years of developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements.
• Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level.
• Expertise or relevant experience working in quantum computing, quantum communications, or quantum networking.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as a founder or executive focused on related segments, or as a practice leader or business unit owner.
• Experience selling to Fortune 1000 or Global 2000 organizations.
• Experience building and executing strategies to win government business and research grants in a deep technology field.

Compensation & Benefits

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
