Principal Business Analyst – ESGCentral TechnologyThe ESGCentral Technology team builds and supports ESG data and technology capabilities that enable Invesco's strategic ESG objectives. We partner closely with Global ESG, Investments, Risk, Compliance, and Product teams to deliver scalable, data-driven solutions in an agile environment.About the Role:We're seeking a Principal Business Analyst to join our ESG technology team. In this role, you will work closely with ESG business partners and technology teams to lead analysis efforts for complex ESG initiatives.

You will operate independently, apply expert judgment, and act as a senior resource within the team to ensure business needs are clearly defined and effectively delivered through technology solutions.This is a hands-on role suited for an experienced analyst who thrives in fast-moving environments and enjoys solving complex, non-routine problems.Responsibilities of the Role:Lead discovery and requirements definition for complex ESG data and technology initiativesPartner with ESG and business stakeholders to understand workflows, data needs, and prioritiesTranslate business needs into clear functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteriaWork closely with engineers, and data teams in an Agile delivery modelSolve complex problems using independent judgment within established standardsRequirements of the Role:10-12+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst.Demonstrated experience leading analysis and execution for large-scale or complex, data-driven technology initiativesSolid understanding of data concepts, SQL, snowflake, and reporting or analytics toolsFinancial services or asset management experience required.Experience working in Agile delivery models and partnering closely with engineering teamsStrong domain knowledge in ESG, investments, risk, compliance, regulatory reporting, or data platforms is preferred.You'll be part of a collaborative, high-impact team working on ESG capabilities that matter—to clients, regulators, and the future of investing.
