Leading the design of high-impact, research-aligned assessment experiences, the full-time remote Principal Assessment Designer will manage product development, mentor teams, and drive innovation in digital learning while collaborating across functions to ensure quality and impact. Key responsibilities Manage and oversee the design of high-quality, research-aligned assessment products through cross-functional collaboration Translate educational research and measurement sciences into actionable design strategies while mentoring peers and guiding best practices Drive continuous improvement through data analysis and feedback, leading innovation in digital assessment experiences Required qualifications Master's or doctoral degree in measurement sciences, education, instructional design, or related field, or commensurate experience 7 or more years of experience in assessment design or a related field Expertise in assessment design principles and measurement science Experience presenting at and participating in external councils and convenings Familiarity with digital learning platforms and tools
