The selected candidate will report to the Financial Controller and support financial and accounting activities.
This position is located on site in St Rose, La with partial telework available after six months.Essential Functions:Preparing balance sheets, profit / loss statements, and consolidated financial reportsAnalyzing and recording financial transaction ensuring accuracy and completenessProvide troubleshooting support and guidanceMiscellaneous accounts receivable reporting and resolution of payment issuesPerform analysis of unbilled balancesSupport monthly cash collection and forecasting goalsInterface with internal and external customersSupport a robust and efficient month end close processManage bi-monthly payroll processBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of Accounting experience (9 years experience in lieu of degree requirement) OR a Master's Degree with 3 years of stated experienceFamiliarity with Microsoft Office, particularly in-depth knowledge and experience working in ExcelAbility to work on site in St Rose, LaPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in AccountingGovernment contracting experienceExperience leading a small teamFamiliarity with GAAP, FAR, CAS, IFRSExperience working in proprietary financial reporting systemsPrimary Level Salary Range: $73,900.00 - $110,900.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
