Responsibilities
- Interview, examine, and diagnose patients during clinic visits
- Order appropriate diagnostic tests, interpret results, and communicate treatment options
- Review and maintain patients' records and medical histories in a timely fashion
- Perform minor surgical procedures such as wound care, suturing, joint aspirations and injections, and administering immunizations
- Prescribe pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens
- Provide education and counseling to patients and their families
- Accurately record correct healthcare diagnoses to ensure correct billing
- Actively participate in monthly provider team meetings and performance reviews with the Medical Director

Requirements
- Required: Current Florida License (Full or ACN) or ability to obtain one
- Required: BLS certification
- Required: EMR experience
- Required: Primary Care Physician practice experience
- Required: Experience managing Medicare Advantage patients or Value-Based Care
- Preferred: Athena experience
- Preferred: Board Eligible/Board Certified in Family Practice or Internal Medicine
- Preferred: Fully bilingual (English/Spanish)
