Practice Info

• Collaborates with other members of the department clinical staff and interdisciplinary teams
• Requires travel throughout and between facilities
• Involves the handling of hazardous drugs and/or hazardous drug contaminated products

Responsibilities

• Examine the health of a patient to help make proper diagnosis of clinical conditions and prescribing medication, treatments, and follow-up care as required
• Prescribe pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens to treat identified and documented medical conditions
• Provide care directly and indirectly by working with other members of an interdisciplinary team to formulate treatment plans
• Timely record patient encounters in Electronic Health Record
• Request further medical evaluations and make referrals as necessary
• Commit to collaboration with all members of the department to provide quality patient care and uphold standards of professionalism
• Ensure accurate coding of all patient visits
• Comply with policies, procedures, bylaws, processes of privileging/credentialing, and standards of care consistent with accreditation and regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Required - Board certified or eligible for certification in physician's primary specialty
• Licensed Practicing Provider MD/DO
• Credentialed and willing to maintain clinical practice
• Individuals who reside in and will work from Colorado, California, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Washington, and Washington D.C. are not eligible for remote work positions
