As our Primary Care Physician (Internal Medicine or Family Medicine), you will join Dignity Health Medical Group – North State, a thriving 60+ provider multi-specialty group in Redding, CA. Here, you'll play a pivotal role in our 100% outpatient primary care team, a key service of Dignity Health Medical Foundation aligned with California's largest hospital provider.
This unique opportunity offers a 4-day full-time work week, though it does require the ability to accommodate a flexible practice schedule, including rotating extended weekdays.
You will provide comprehensive, patient-centric primary care within a physician‑led model, supported by strong staff and a robust referral system for easy access to specialists. You'll utilize modern EMR and PACS systems, and benefit from access to our 24/7 Hospitalist Program, all while working alongside experienced colleagues.
To be successful in this role, you will be a board‑certified or board‑eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician, with excellent clinical skills, a commitment to delivering high‑quality outpatient care, and a desire to thrive in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide evidence‑based outpatient primary care to a diverse adult patient population.
- Manage a dedicated patient panel, focusing on continuity of care, health promotion, and disease prevention.
- Efficiently document patient encounters and manage medical records using EMR and PACS systems.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including specialists and the Hospitalist Program, to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Requirements
- Active or eligible for a medical license in the state of California
- Board eligible or board certified in specified area of medical specialty (ABMS or AOA)
- Completion of an accredited post‑graduate training program
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem‑solving skills
