Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Primary Care Physician to join a well-established, team-oriented medical practice in Newark. This opportunity offers physicians the chance to focus on comprehensive, patient-centered care for older adults in a collaborative outpatient environment.
The practice follows a value-based care approach, emphasizing preventive medicine, long-term patient wellness, improved clinical outcomes, and reduced hospitalizations. Physicians benefit from strong clinical support, a dedicated care team, and performance-based incentives tied to quality of care.

Key Responsibilities
* * Evaluate patients, establish diagnoses, and develop individualized treatment plans.
* Provide comprehensive primary care, including preventive services and chronic disease management.
* Prescribe medications and oversee appropriate treatment plans.
* Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.
* Partner with multidisciplinary care teams to improve patient outcomes and care coordination.
* Collaborate with clinical and administrative leadership to achieve quality and performance objectives.
* Support the daily operations and clinical effectiveness of the medical center.
* Perform additional clinical responsibilities as needed.
Required Qualifications
* * MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
* Board certification or board eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
* Active, unrestricted, non-probationary state medical license.
* Active DEA registration.
* Authorization to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
* * Experience providing care to geriatric or older adult populations.
* Fellowship training in Geriatrics.
* Background in outpatient primary care.
* Familiarity with value-based care and quality-driven clinical models.
* Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
* Bilingual communication skills, where applicable.
