Background and Duties
Central Maine Medical Center is seeking a Board-Certified / Board-Eligible Primary Care Physician (Internal Medicine or Family Medicine) to join an established outpatient practice in Topsham, Maine. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive outpatient primary care in a supportive, community-focused environment as part of a growing healthcare network. Physicians will provide care to adults and families, collaborating with specialists and hospital-based providers within the Central Maine Healthcare system.

Sign‑On Bonus

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive preventive, diagnostic, and therapeutic primary care
- Manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease
- Conduct routine physical exams and wellness visits
- Coordinate care with specialists and hospital services
- Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR
- Participate in quality improvement and population health initiatives
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to ensure excellent patient outcomes
Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Eligible for Maine medical licensure
- DEA certification or eligibility
- Strong commitment to patient‑centered care and teamwork
Pay Transparency
Central Maine Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $XX.XX to $XX.XX. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, considering factors such as skillset, years of experience, education, credentials and licensure.
