Responsibilities
- Interviews, examines and diagnoses patients during clinic visits
- Orders appropriate diagnostic tests, interprets results, and communicates appropriate treatment options to patients
- Reviews and maintains patients' records and medical histories in timely fashion and records patients' progress
- Prescribes pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens to treat identified and documented medical conditions
- Provides education and counseling to patients and their families that may improve their health or help to treat the health issue they are experiencing
- Accurately records correct healthcare diagnoses to ensure correct billing
- Adheres to departmental policies, procedures and objectives, ongoing quality improvement objectives and safety, environmental and infection control standards
- Actively participates in monthly provider team meetings and performance reviews with Medical Director
Compensation
- $182,545 to $273,819 anticipated base salary range

Requirements
- Current Florida License (Full or ACN) or ability to obtain one
- BLS certification
- EMR experience
- Primary Care Physician practice experience
- Experience managing Medicare Advantage patients or Value-Based Care
- Athena experience (Preferred)
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Family Practice or Internal Medicine (Preferred)
- Fully bilingual (English/Spanish) (Preferred)
