Primary Care Physician

An established and growing Direct Primary Care (DPC) practice in Daytona Beach, FL, is seeking a Primary Care Physician to join its patient-centered healthcare team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a physician who values relationship-based medicine, longer patient visits, and a reduced administrative burden. The incoming physician will play a key role in expanding access to primary care services while developing and growing their own patient panel.

Practice Info

• Direct Primary Care model
• Outpatient-only practice
• No insurance billing requirements
• Low patient volume with extended appointment times
• Average of approximately 10 patients per day
• Predominantly adult patient population with an average age range of 40–50 years

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care services to adult patients
• Perform preventive care, annual wellness visits, and chronic disease management
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
• Develop individualized treatment plans
• Coordinate care with specialists and healthcare facilities as needed
• Conduct hospital follow-up visits when appropriate
• Utilize telehealth and patient communication tools to enhance access and continuity of care
• Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record system

Compensation

• Up to $250,000+

Shift & Schedule

• Full-time position
• Monday–Thursday
• 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Last patient scheduled at 4:00 PM
• Light telephone call coverage
• Approximately one week of call coverage at a time
• No routine in-person call requirements

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Completion of Family Medicine or Internal Medicine residency training
• Eligible for or active Florida medical license
• DEA registration or eligibility
• Family Medicine training preferred but open to Internal Medicine
• Board Eligible or Board Certified preferred
• Prior outpatient primary care experience preferred but not required
