Nuvance Health is seeking a full-time Primary Care Physician for their well-established Brookfield Primary Care Practice in suburban Fairfield County, Connecticut. This is an outstanding opportunity to practice meaningful, patient-centered primary care in a highly regarded office that has served the community for over 35 years. The role offers a collegial environment with a high-performing team, close proximity to Danbury Hospital, and minimal on-call obligations, designed to support clinical thriving and a balanced lifestyle.

Practice Info

  • Long-established and highly regarded practice, providing high-quality healthcare for over thirty-five years.
  • Serves all ages of adults and pediatrics, including local police and fire departments, the Brookfield school system, and the local YMCA.
  • Staff includes 8 providers (Physicians and Advance Practice Provider colleagues) and excellent support staff.
  • Completely new facility with spacious exam rooms and dedicated office space for physicians and advanced practitioners.
  • Utilizes a state-of-the-art Electronic Health Record fully integrated across all hospitals and ambulatory sites.
  • Awarded a Level 3 certification for PCMH and committed to undergraduate medical education, precepting medical students from the University of Vermont.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive, team-based care for a diverse adult patient population.
  • Partner with skilled multidisciplinary staff to manage acute and chronic conditions.
  • Promote wellness across an entire panel of patients.

Compensation

  • Salary Range: $275,000 - $285,000 dependent upon experience
  • Competitive base salary + incentive compensation

Shift & Schedule

  • Full-time
  • Off-hour coverage - Shared among multiple providers, phone-calls only with nurse triage
  • Light call schedule supported by nurse triage

Requirements

  • MD or DO
  • CT State License, Federal DEA and State Controlled Substance Registration
  • Successfully completed a Family Medicine Residency or an Internal Medicine AND Pediatric Residency
  • Experience as a Primary Care Physician preferred but new grads are welcome to apply
  • Board Certified or be Board Eligible
