Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive health care focusing on preventive/therapeutic medical services for senior/geriatric patients
Examine patients for symptoms of organic/congenital disorders and determine nature/extent of injury/disorder
Refer to diagnostic images/tests, and use medical instruments/equipment
Focus on both prevention/treatment of diseases/disabilities in older adults
Prescribe medication and recommend dietary/activity programs, as indicated by diagnosis
Refer patients to medical specialists to address specific medical issues when appropriate
