The VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System (GLA VA) is seeking a dedicated, full-time Primary Care Physician for our San Luis Obispo (SLO) Community-Based Outpatient Clinic. In this role, you will be part of a Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) providing longitudinal and preventive care to a panel of Veterans. You will work alongside a supportive multidisciplinary team of experienced nurses, social workers, mental health professionals, pharmacists, and administrative staff to deliver exceptional care.

Responsibilities
- Deliver primary and acute care services to veteran patients in an outpatient setting
- Provide same day care and coverage for other PACT providers as needed
- Collaborate with mid-level providers (Nurse Practitioners and/or Physician Assistants)
- Demonstrate clinical competence in history-taking, examination, diagnosis, therapeutic ability, emergencies, patient management, consultations, and record keeping
- Participate in quality assurance, process improvement, systems redesign, and access initiatives in support of local and national VA goals
- Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and community agencies to facilitate treatment planning and continuity of care
- Engage performance measures and process improvement initiatives
- Foster collaboration with supervisory and frontline staff to improve clinic operations
- Experience or interest in Women's Health preferred
Compensation
- Salary Range: $270,000 – $315,000

- MD or equivalent
- Board Certified/Eligible
- Must be a US Citizen.
