Optum California, part of Optum's extensive medical group network, is seeking Full-Time or Part-Time Primary Care Physicians to join their team in Torrance, CA. This role offers the opportunity to provide physician-led care within a quality-focused model, emphasizing patient well-being and a healthy work/life balance. Practice Info
- Quality vs. Quantity Model - Typically see around 18 - 20 patients per day
- Scheduled weekly administrative time, ~40 mins baked into each day
- 40 min new patient visits, 20 min follow up patient visits
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of health care providers
- Dedicated support staff, so clinicians can focus on practicing at full scope of license
- This position does not require call or urgent care shifts, outpatient only
Compensation
- Guaranteed base plus an annual bonus structure based on quality and performance metrics
- The salary range for California residents is $237,361 to $331,688
- Urgent care shifts are optional for additional pay, not required

Shift & Schedule
- Full-Time or Part Time
- Office hours: Monday thru Friday; 8 AM - 5 PM, no nights or weekends
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.), Doctor of Osteopathic (D.O.), or M.B.B.S
- Board certification or eligibility in Family or Internal Medicine
- Active, unrestricted medical license in CA or the ability to obtain prior to employment
- Valid DEA license or the ability to obtain prior to employment
- 1+ years experience in managed care setting preferred
- Bilingual Spanish preferred
