Nuvance Health is seeking a full-time Primary Care Physician for their Brookfield Primary Care Practice in Brookfield, Connecticut, to start in Summer or Fall 2026. This established practice, affiliated with Danbury Hospital, offers a patient-centered environment with a focus on comprehensive care for all ages of adults and pediatrics. The role provides an opportunity to join a high-performing team in a collegial setting, supported by state-of-the-art technology and a commitment to clinician wellness.

  • Practice sees all ages of adults and pediatrics.
  • Staff includes 8 providers (Physicians and Advance Practice Provider colleagues) and excellent support staff.
  • Office is a completely new facility with spacious exam rooms and dedicated office space for physicians and advanced practitioners.
  • Utilizes a state-of-the-art Electronic Health Record that is fully integrated across all hospitals and ambulatory sites.
  • One of the first practices in the area to be awarded a Level 3 certification for PCMH.
  • Practice is committed to undergraduate medical education with many clinicians precepting medical students from the University of Vermont.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive, team-based care for a diverse adult patient population.
  • Partner with skilled multidisciplinary staff to manage acute and chronic conditions.
  • Promote wellness across an entire panel of patients.

Compensation

  • Salary Range: $275,000 - $285,000 dependent upon experience.
  • Competitive base salary + incentive compensation
  • Potential hiring bonus and relocation stipend

Shift & Schedule

  • Full-time
  • Minimal on-call obligations
  • Light call schedule supported by nurse triage
  • Off-hour coverage - Shared among multiple providers, phone-calls only with nurse triage

Requirements

  • MD or DO
  • CT State License, Federal DEA and State Controlled Substance Registration
  • Successfully completed a Family Medicine Residency or an Internal Medicine AND Pediatric Residency
  • Experience as a Primary Care Physician preferred but new grads are welcome to apply
  • Board Certified or be Board Eligible
