Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care services for patients across the lifespan
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute illnesses, chronic conditions, and preventive healthcare needs using evidence-based medicine
- Develop personalized treatment plans, including medication management, preventive services, and chronic disease management
- Perform annual wellness visits, health screenings, and preventive care services
- Coordinate care for patients with complex medical conditions and collaborate with specialty providers when appropriate
- Partner with advanced practice providers and interdisciplinary care teams to improve patient outcomes and population health
- Educate patients and caregivers to support informed decisions and long-term health
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of clinical excellence
Compensation
- Compensation Range: $211,369 to $317,053
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an accredited Family Medicine or Internal Medicine residency program
- BE or BC in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Eligible for unrestricted Alaska medical licensure
- Current DEA registration and BLS certification
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care
- Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills
