Primary Care Nurse Practitioner & Physician Assistant Resident – Eureka, CA

Open Door Community Health Centers (ODCHC) is a mission‑driven organization providing compassionate, whole‑person care across medical, dental, behavioral health, and pharmacy services along California’s North Coast. We invite newly graduated Nurse Practitioners (NP) and Physician Assistants (PA) to join our resident care team at Eureka Community Health Center.

Program Overview

The Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) Residency Program is a 12‑month residency followed by a 12‑month fellowship. Designed for trainees who wish to remain with ODCHC, the program offers intensive training in the clinical complexity of rural family practice within a safety‑net setting and a high‑performance patient‑centered medical home (PCMH) model.

Education & Experience

  • Diploma from an accredited NP or PA program.
  • Completed within the last 18 months.

Licensure & Certifications

  • Current, unrestricted California license.
  • Current DEA registration.
  • Board certification in the specialty of practice (or board‑eligible if newly graduated).
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
  • Valid California driver’s license with an insurable driving record.

Compensation

  • Resident salary: $98,420.40.
  • Fellow salary: $113,823.84.
