Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care services including wellness visits, chronic disease management, acute care, and preventive medicine
- Diagnose and treat common medical conditions
- Order and interpret diagnostic testing
- Prescribe medications and treatment plans in accordance with Maine regulations
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and specialists to coordinate care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR
Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Board Certified as FNP, AGNP, or related specialty
- Active or eligible Maine Board of Nursing licensure
- DEA certification or eligibility
- Prior primary care experience preferred
- Strong communication and patient engagement skills
