The role may also include Associate Medical Director responsibilities, providing an opportunity to mentoradvanced practice providers and help advance clinical quality across theservice line.
Responsibilities Provide comprehensiveprimary care, including preventive, acute, and chronic disease management. Exercise independentclinical decision-making and maintain accountability for patient outcomes. Develop and implementindividualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and evidence-basedpractices. Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and other members of the care team to coordinate patient care. Mentor and support Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants. Participate in clinicalquality initiatives and help influence practice standards across the serviceline. Oversee and participate in APP chart audits and provide clinical feedback as appropriate. Participate inorganizational meetings, quality improvement activities, and other professionalresponsibilities.
Compensation & Benefits: $200,801-$301,200annually, based on experience and qualifications, plus a comprehensive benefitspackage.
Requirements MD or DO degree from anaccredited medical school. Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine or Family Medicine residency. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. Current, unrestricted Tennessee medical license or eligibility to obtain one. Current DEA registration oreligibility to obtain one. Strong clinical judgment,communication, and leadership skills. Primary care experiencepreferred.
Experience mentoring APPs orparticipating in clinical quality initiatives is a plus.
