Position Summary:

Join Bentley’s Strategic Pricing & Monetization team to help translate product strategy into effective pricing, packaging, monetization, commercialization, and go-to-market plans. Reporting to the Pricing and Packaging Strategist, you will partner with Product Management, Commercial Strategy, Account Advancement, Finance, Operations, Marketing, and other stakeholders to support products throughout their lifecycle. This highly visible individual contributor role requires strong analytical, strategic, and communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and implementation of pricing, packaging, and monetization strategies across Bentley's product portfolio. Conduct analysis and develop recommendations for pricing metrics, levels, structures, and packaging models that align product value with business objectives.
  • Partner with Product Management, Commercial Strategy, Account Advancement, Finance, Operations, and Marketing to support commercialization initiatives—including product launches, product introductions, consolidations, acquisitions, repackaging, and retirements—to ensure go-to-market readiness and execution.
  • Translate product capabilities and market opportunities into quantifiable business value across different account segments. Develop business cases, pricing analyses, market assessments, and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
  • Serve as a liaison among Product Management, Finance, Operations, Legal, Revenue Accounting, Marketing, and other stakeholders to support the implementation and operationalization of pricing, packaging, and commercialization initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to increase adoption, retention, cross-sell, and upsell through strategic promotions, bundling initiatives, commercial programs, and packaging enhancements.
  • Conduct or support market research, account interviews, sales feedback sessions, competitive assessments, and pilot programs to validate pricing, packaging, and monetization recommendations while reducing implementation risk.
  • Support pricing governance processes, documentation, approvals, and cross-functional reviews. Monitor portfolio performance and help identify opportunities for pricing optimization, packaging improvements, and revenue growth across the product lifecycle.
  • Evaluate emerging monetization approaches and ensure future pricing requirements are considered in product design, telemetry, usage tracking, APIs, and commercial systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field, with 5+ years of progressive experience in pricing, packaging, monetization, product commercialization, commercial strategy, product management, or a related discipline.
  • Direct experience within the B2B software, SaaS, technology, or infrastructure engineering software industry.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting complex, cross-functional initiatives from concept through implementation, collaborating with multiple stakeholders to drive alignment and achieve business objectives.
  • Strong understanding of software business models, licensing approaches, commercial programs, pricing and packaging models, including subscription, perpetual, enterprise, usage-based, and hybrid monetization approaches.
  • Proven analytical skills with the ability to evaluate market opportunities, business performance, account needs, and product value to develop data-driven recommendations.
  • Experience building business cases, financial analyses, and executive-level recommendations to support strategic pricing, packaging, commercialization, and monetization decisions.
  • Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting quantitative and qualitative data to support business decision-making.
  • Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience presenting complex analytical findings, business cases, and strategic recommendations to senior leaders and executive stakeholders.
  • Experience conducting market research, competitive analysis, account interviews, segmentation studies, or pricing-related assessments to support commercial decision-making.
