Freelance Senior Manager / Associate Director – Pricing & Contracting (US Market Access)
Start Date: End of September 2026
Commitment: 30 Hours per Week

I am partnered with an innovative biopharmaceutical company who are looking for an experienced Senior Manager or Associate Director of Pricing & Contracting on a 6-month contract. This is an exciting opportunity to support a late-stage asset transitioning from Phase III through to launch, playing a key role in shaping US pricing and contracting strategy.
This position requires someone who can hit the ground running, working cross-functionally to develop commercial pricing strategies, refine financial models, and support critical market access decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and refinement of US pricing and contracting strategies for products approaching launch
- Adapt and enhance existing pricing and revenue models provided by external vendors
- Develop revenue forecasts under different pricing and contracting scenarios
- Analyse syndicated datasets and other market intelligence to inform strategic recommendations
- Support contracting strategy across commercial and government channels
- Provide insights into US government pricing considerations, including Medicare and Medicaid
- Partner closely with Market Access, Commercial and cross-functional stakeholders to support launch readiness
Required Experience
- Extensive experience in US Pricing & Contracting within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry
- Demonstrated expertise supporting products from Phase III through launch
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, with experience building and adapting pricing and revenue models
- Experience working with syndicated market datasets
- Strong understanding of US government pricing, Medicare and Medicaid
- Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal onboarding.
