Company DescriptionFORTUNE 500 SHIPPING COMPANYJob DescriptionPosition SummaryWorking with members of the pricing department, the Pricing Analyst will build and maintain various types of pricing models for new and existing leasing opportunities and assist in profitability analyses of different marketing strategies.Responsibilities          Prepare pricing models and analyses based on our customers’ requirements Develop / maintain revenue forecasting models for our marketing team assisting in the development of an overall business forecastAnalyze the profitability of various pricing options and overall impact to the business using financial metrics such as operating ratio, IRR, cash on cash, etc.  Prepare management reporting for our Marketing Senior Management team related to recent pricing trends and market trendsQualificationsQualificationsA minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required, preferably with a major in Accounting or Finance.  An MBA, CPA or other financial certification is preferred.A minimum of three years finance or related business experience is required.Must think creatively, and posses excellent analytical, conceptual, communication and interpersonal skills.Extensive experience with Excel and competitive pricing modeling are required.Ability to work well independently and in a team environment required.Individual must work well in dynamic, fast-paced environment and be able to recommend and implement process improvements.Must be able to competently handle competing, multiple tasks simultaneously.A background in pricing and/or transportation or leasing preferred.SummaryType: Full-timeFunction: AnalystExperience level: AssociateIndustry: Staffing And Recruiting
