Commercial Pressure Washer Position
Project Overview & Objectives
Service Window: Overnight hours (typically 9:00 PM – 4:00 AM) to avoid pedestrian and customer traffic. Must have experience with large grade commercial pressure washers.
Primary Goal: Remove oil, grease, gum, organic stains, and surface dirt from high-traffic concrete and building facades.
Compliance: Adhere to local environmental and EPA run-off guidelines regarding wastewater recovery or storm drain blocking.
Specific Areas & Tasks Included
- Parking Lots & Garages: Pre-treat oil spots with degreasers, surface-clean drive lanes, and rinse debris toward designated collection points.
- Drive-Thrus & Walkways: Deep-clean oil, drink spills, and organic matter around restaurant pick-up lanes and entry sidewalks.
- Building Facades & Storefronts: Wash ground-floor exterior walls, brick, or stucco up to window sills.
- Loading Docks & Dumpster Pads: Sanitize and degrease heavy-residue waste container zones.
Contractor Responsibilities & Equipment
- Gear Utilization: Provide self-contained mobile wash rigs, high-pressure hot/cold washers, surface cleaners, portable floodlights, and reclamation vacuums.
- Safety Setup: Deploy wet floor caution signs, cones, and safety strobe/bar lighting around the work zone.
- Site Restoration: Block storm drains prior to chemical application, recover dirty water if mandated, and sweep/rinse residual grit into tidy areas.
