Press TechnicianPress Technician position will be located in our new core plant in Whitehall, MI. This is an off-shift role: 2nd, 3rd or weekend shift. Primary responsibilities will include:Troubleshoot and problem solve forming issues at the pressManage die/gauge storage areaAids in implementing continuous improvements and is a valuable link in the cell help chain.Check overall quality of core jobsEnter data into computer if applicableGood understanding of PLC controlled pressesGood understanding of forming ceramicsAssists production planning in press/die compatibilityReview dies to verify conformity/functionality prior to setupNotify supervisor or injection specialist of any die problems that may affect scheduleTroubleshoot forming issuesAssist in training and development of new set up techs and press operatorsReview and update coating inspection recordsBasic qualifications:High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.Minimum of two years work experience; or six months continuous manufacturing experience.Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
