Press OperatorPress Operator – Core Department Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (Temp to Hire) Compensation: $20.00 per hour plus a $100 weekly bonus for perfect attendance Position Summary We are seeking a reliable and mechanically skilled Core Assembler to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling transformer cores, installing brackets and hardware, and operating a drill press to prepare components in alignment with engineering specifications and quality standards. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssemble transformer core components using hand and power tools.Operate a drill press to drill holes and prepare parts for assembly.Install brackets, clamps, and related hardware on transformer cores.Read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, and assembly drawings.Verify measurements and ensure parts meet quality standards.Inspect completed assemblies for accuracy and defects.Maintain a clean and organized work area.Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies.Assist with additional manufacturing and assembly duties as needed.QualificationsPrevious assembly or manufacturing experience is required.Experience operating a drill press or similar machinery is required.Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as necessary.Ability to stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.Strong commitment to safety and quality.Work EnvironmentManufacturing and production facility setting.Exposure to moving machinery, metal components, and industrial equipment.Steel-toed shoes are recommended.
