Ambient Recruiting is partnering with a leading manufacturer to hire 1st and 2nd shift Rotary Press Operators to run production machines and create high-quality parts. Great opportunity for hands-on manufacturing experience in a team-oriented environment.
Shifts
First: 5am-3:30pm
Second: 3:30pm-4am
Pay: $19.50 - $22
Responsibilities:
* Set up and operate production equipment according to work orders, specification cards, and established procedures.
* Review production documentation and verify materials, tooling, and machine settings before each job.
* Load materials, adhesives, and tooling; adjust machine settings to ensure proper alignment, tension, speed, and product quality.
* Monitor machine performance throughout production, making necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
* Inspect products to verify they meet specifications, tolerances, and quality standards, retaining required first and last article samples.
* Complete required production records, quality inspections, and end-of-run documentation accurately.
* Ensure the correct materials, lot information, and production records are maintained in accordance with company procedures.
* Package finished products using the appropriate materials and labeling.
* Perform routine machine cleaning, basic preventive maintenance, and minor adjustments; report equipment issues requiring major repair.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment throughout each shift.
* Collaborate with supervisors, sales, estimating, and other departments on product trials and process improvements.
* Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance quality, efficiency, and productivity.
* Update production documentation, including specification cards, when approved process changes are implemented.
* Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
* High school diploma or GED
* Manufacturing or machine operator experience preferred Reliable and detail-oriented
* Must pass drug screen and background check
* Reliable Transportation, bus line not included
