We are hiring immediately for a skilled Press Operator on first shift in the Cleveland, OH manufacturing plant.Press Operator Pay/Schedule:Pay $19-$22/hr1st shift-6:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.Schedule is Monday-Friday; overtime may be required during busy season/business needs.Press Operator Responsibilities & Daily DutiesIncludes functions which are normally performed by persons holding this title.
However, these functions may be reassigned to other employees as part of a "Reasonable Accommodation" under the ADA.Reads docket instructions and sets up press based on these instructionsMakes job ready by running samples to adjust print quality, registration, color settings and mixingResponsible for the quality of printed work within defined levels of authorityMonitors PH and conductivity of fountain solution on offset pressPerforms preventative maintenance on presses such as lubrication, replacement of small parts cleaning and minor adjustments to rollers and other small moving parts.Other duties and assignments as required.Press Operator Physical Requirements & Work EnvironmentRegular standing, walking, carrying, reaching, bending, stoopingFrequently required to lift and/or move up to 55 pounds with assistanceExposure to production equipment, noise hazardous materials (inks, solvents, glue, etc.)Must be able to work in hot or cold weatherAbility to handle delivery output in a standing position for a full shiftCenveo is an EEO Employer INDCVOPPress Operator RequirementsThe ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or equivalent.Two years of relevant work experience in a production environment.Ability to operate, problem solve, and detect malfunctions on press equipment.Knowledge of mixing and producing correct colors in printing.Basic math skills and the ability to accurately read a ruler; basic computer skills.
