Job TitleJob DescriptionEssential FunctionsSafetyFollow all Plant Safety Rules and RegulationsUtilize proper PPE at all timesHandle and dispose of hazardous material safely and per policy as outlined by all relevant regulationsQualityResponsible to produce continuous quality parts and ensure all quality procedures are followedCompliance to ISO 9001Complete Manufacturing/Quality documentsCommunicate with internally concerning deviations or general requestAssist in 6s and lean manufacturing practicesEnvironmentalVerify compliance to local, state, and federal regulationsComplete reports as necessary internally/externallyPrimary Production ResponsibilitiesIndependently operate machines, equipment, and produce production parts to required tolerancesRead and comprehend customer specification sheets; anticipate the next order and stage supplies/products as neededUtilize Company systems for reporting production, scrap, inventory, etc.Press drum head and bottoms to scheduled requirements and to meet customer specificationsCheck press set up after changeover to gaugesCheck pre-curl roll, adjust, and replace as neededChangeover head press as requiredMove parts to and from press as requiredCheck off completed orders on daily schedule sheetStack/prepare parts as neededSelect, pick-up, and move boxes of flanges to work stationAssist and operate presses in press poll as neededFollow direction and product required quantitiesTroubleshoot mechanical issues with other operators, maintenance, and managementOther DutiesMaintain working area in a clean, orderly and safe conditionCarry out minor maintenance overhauls and parts changes; including designated preventative maintenanceTrack issues with downtime and/or equipmentAttend all required meetings and trainingsPerform all other duties as required or requestedQualificationsEducation/Experience and/or TrainingHigh School Diploma or GEDPrior experience in industrial manufacturingHazardous Material HandlingLicenses or CertificationsForklift LicenseProblem-Solving SkillsOffer highest level of innovation and problem solving skills to influence overall efficiency, improvements in productivity, outcomes, etc.Verbal Communication SkillsUse verbal skills to transfer information to operators, maintenance, and managementWritten Communication SkillsComplete reports such as production, quality, and inventory legiblyMath SkillsAddition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, ratiosComputer SkillsInternal manufacturing systemsPhysical DemandsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed throughout the shiftAbility to stand, kneel/stoop, and walk for the duration of the shiftRequires good hand/eye/foot coordinationWhile performing the duties of this job, the individual is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, loud environments, fumes or airborne particles and outside weather conditionsVision: 20/20 corrected; and normal hearing rangeAble to work in a non-climate controlled environment – cold in winter months and hot in the summer monthsPersonal Protective EquipmentBoots: steel or composite toedSafety GlassesGloves: latex, work gloves, etc.Hearing ProtectionSleeves: cut resistantProperly fitted clothingHard Hat (in designated areas)The hourly pay rate is $23.70Mauser Packaging Solutions offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, paid time off, and other competitive benefits.About UsDo you want to work with people who are dedicated to innovation and making the world a better place?
