Press Operator OpportunityTaylor Corporation is looking for a Press Operator to join our team in Tampa, FL.Your Shift: 3rd Shift, Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AMYour Responsibilities:Carry out detailed instructions from job orders accurately and precisely. Identify possible errors or problems and take prompt action to correct them.Set up and adjust the press for job runs to meet specifications.Monitor product quality during job runs and check work against specifications. Take action to correct any quality issues.Monitor equipment during job runs, remain alert to mechanical issues, and refer problems to maintenance as needed.Start and run jobs in alignment with the production schedule.Perform routine equipment maintenance and upkeep.Meet standards for output, waste, and spoilage.You Must Have:Mechanical and technical skills or aptitudeStrong math skills, including the ability to read a ruler and calculate label dimensions for stock optimizationAbility to operate equipment and build proficiency as measured through production and quality standardsAbility to understand verbal and written instructions for work ordersAbility to communicate professionallyStrong attention to detailRequirements Within This Position:Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understandRegularly required to remain in a stationary positionConstantly operates machinery and handles products, including print materialsFrequently required to move inside the facilityRegularly move up to 25+ pounds, including lifting, pushing, pulling and/or carryingWe Would Also Prefer:Ability to distinguish colorsExperience in a production-related environmentAbout Taylor CorporationOne of the largest graphics communications firms in North America, Taylor's family of companies provide a diverse set of products, services and technologies addressing the toughest communication challenges.
