Full time - Temp to hire
Monday through Friday - 6:30am to 3pm
$20hr to $25hr depending on experience.
A company delivering comprehensive branding solutions, from specialty printing to customized packaging is seeking a Press Feeder to join their team in Chatsworth.
Summary : The Press Feeder is responsible for supporting press operators by ensuring a consistent supply of materials to printing presses, maintaining workflow efficiency, and upholding quality and safety standards. This role is critical to minimizing downtime and ensuring accurate, high-quality production runs.
Responsibilities:

• Load and feed paper, board, or other substrates into printing presses according to job specifications.
• Monitor material levels and replenish supplies to maintain continuous production.
• Assist press operators with setup, changeovers, and adjustments.
• Inspect materials for defects and ensure proper alignment and positioning.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of press area and equipment.
• Remove finished materials and assist with stacking, bundling, or staging for next steps.
• Follow all safety protocols and standard operating procedures. (SOPs)
• Communicate effectively with press operators and production team regarding job status and issues.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks and report equipment malfunctions.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a press feeder.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn press operations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
