Press FeederChatsworth, CAFull time – Temp to hireMonday through Friday – 6:30am to 3pm$20hr to $25hr depending on experience.A company delivering comprehensive branding solutions, from specialty printing to customized packaging is seeking a Press Feeder to join their team in Chatsworth.Summary: The Press Feeder is responsible for supporting press operators by ensuring a consistent supply of materials to printing presses, maintaining workflow efficiency, and upholding quality and safety standards. This role is critical to minimizing downtime and ensuring accurate, high-quality production runs.Responsibilities:Load and feed paper, board, or other substrates into printing presses according to job specifications.Monitor material levels and replenish supplies to maintain continuous production.Assist press operators with setup, changeovers, and adjustments.Inspect materials for defects and ensure proper alignment and positioning.Maintain cleanliness and organization of press area and equipment.Remove finished materials and assist with stacking, bundling, or staging for next steps.Follow all safety protocols and standard operating procedures. (SOPs)Communicate effectively with press operators and production team regarding job status and issues.Perform basic maintenance tasks and report equipment malfunctions.Qualifications:Previous experience as a press feeder.High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn press operations.Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
